ABOUT

Backend enough to design the schema. Frontend enough to care about the animation curve.

I'm a Full Stack Mobile App Developer based in Karachi, with 4+ years building cross-platform apps end-to-end — React Native on the front, Node.js/Express/MongoDB behind it. I'm currently at Zee Tech Expert, building a production app that pulls together the OpenAI API, VirusTotal's threat-scanning, AdMob monetization, and in-app purchases into one codebase.

Before that, I led the frontend half of a 7-engineer cross-functional team at SkyRoom Private Limited — running sprint planning and code reviews across e-commerce, social, and utility apps for close to three years.

My focus has always gravitated toward the screens other developers avoid: multi-source dashboards, real-time sensor visualization, and the state-management mess that comes with them. I built a custom heatmap chart component from scratch for a poultry-farm sensor app, and more recently spent weeks getting PDF report generation and Stripe payments (Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal) right in React Native.

I studied Software Engineering at Iqra University, Karachi (2016–2020), and my earliest frontend work was customizing WordPress sites before I moved fully into React Native.

What I actually care about on a project

Own it end-to-end

I'd rather design the API contract myself than wait for a spec. Backend and frontend, same head.

Debug the boring bug

Stale closures, temporal dead zones, TDZ bugs in a cache-hit branch — I track these down rather than work around them.

Data should be readable

A dashboard that's technically correct but unreadable is a bug. Heatmaps, gauges, and charts get the same attention as the API.

Ship, then improve

Zero-downtime releases, reusable component libraries, sprint discipline — the unglamorous parts of shipping matter.
